L

L
Creates a friendly atmosphere
Easy to talk to
Always smiles
Talks to strangers first
Hates being quiet
Makes many friends

L,
She lives life how she deserves it,
Whether it be alone
Or with strangers,
Or in the comfort of her family house
She talks,
Like a sparrow singing in the trees
Or a rooster crowing at dawn,
Or the sheep,
Grazing quietly in the field,
She talks,
Q.
U.
I.
E.
T.
Simply doesn’t exist in her vocabulary,

When she talks,
People listen,
People talk too,
She’s not all about the mouth,
She has ears too,
And as big as her mouth is,
Her ears are bigger and wider too!
She might think once,
She might think twice,
Yet, when her mouth quivers,
And the air rushes between her teeth,
She will say,
She will whisper,
Only loud enough for those near to hear,
Only those lucky enough,
Will find out that gold,
Is not just a rock.

She could be out,
On the street,
Breathing in natures goodness,
It giving her,
Life and strength,
A lonesome stranger,
Drifting through the crowds,
Despair, written across his face
And there she is,
Frozen in her tracks,
Waiting for the man,
To helplessly place his foot,
In her direction,
She’ll talk to him,
The water in his eyes
Evaporating,
His frown,
Turning the right way round,

They’ll turn,
They’ll talk,
They’ll settle down,
Somehow, this man isn’t alone,
Is not crying into his beer,
Somehow, he has awoken,
From that deep slumber,
And somehow, L,
Has worked her magic once again,
She has made another friend,
To go with that growing piece of string,
Why be sad, when you can be happy,
Why be alone, when you can be with someone,
Why stop looking, when all you need is within?

L, may have one friend, she may have a dozen,
She may have more,
She may have none,
But, with her smile,
That never seems to die,
That never seems to wake,
That never seems to sleep,
That seems like it was tattooed on,
Right from birth,
Who couldn’t help,
But falling in love with such a thing,
She uses it to make friends,
To be a friend,
To those who are worthy,
And to those who aren’t,
None of it matters,
For her smile says it all!

Where ever she is,
At a party,
Or in school,
Teaching,
Or drinking coffee,
The people near her cheer,
And cry in delight,
Her talent, is there on show,
Not one to shy,
There’s life to come yet,
And, what was once grey
And dull,
Shadows casting out over the room,
Soon disappear,
And those, who were once apart,
Come together,
Under her grace,
Her smile,
Her glistening beauty,
Her heart, that beats a thousand times,
For each of them there,
Her jobs done, and that atmosphere,
They so desired,
Yet so shied from,
Arrives with L,
As soon as she
Enters soon as she,
Steps near and,
Smiles.
