Free
Strongest woman
than any other
Always positive
Loves travel
Free
Thor himself,
Could fly down
from the heavens,
His hammer,
Pounding deep into
the ground,
Yet he still couldn’t
beat her,
The Hulk,
Could come a
crashing and a bashing,
Thrashing and
trashing,
Yet he still couldn’t
beat her,
Cat woman could
sneak up
On her padded
paws,
Teasing and
sneasing
Scratching and
dispatching,
Yet she still couldn’t
beat her.
Elizabeth
In her days of
glory,
An entire empire,
At her beck and
call,
Could send out
scores
Of troops,
Legion after legion,
And she still couldn’t
beat her
Charlie,
And his Angels,
Could dance a jig,
Kicking their
heels,
Flying through the
air,
Raising and
drifting
Superlifting,
Yet for all their cunningness,
And decisiveness,
They still couldn’t
beat her.
Weak, it’s a four
letter word,
She doesn’t know,
Its short a few
letters,
Its not complete,
And she doesn’t
have the time,
Nor patience for
that.
She might stub her
toe,
And loose a nail,
But another will
grow in its place,
Stronger than
before,
She might meet
that guy,
Who serenades her,
With flowers and
poetry,
Only to discover,
He’s been a big
lie,
A joke,
A fraud,
All along,
But, another
Will fall under
curly brown hair,
Under her dainty
little nose,
More handsome,
More true,
More sincere,
It might be stormy
outside,
The umbrellas might
be dancing,
With the leaves,
But it’s dry
inside,
The fireplace is
in the corner,
Warming, cleansing
the air,
The hot bath
calling her name,
Giving excuses to
be lazy,
For a while or
two.
A frown,
As they say,
Is just an upside
down smile,
And as her peach
lips,
Slightly open up,
Giving the few,
The privileged,
That living is a
state of being,
A state of mind,
She knows,
Life doesn’t live
itself,
She lives it,
And it all starts,
With her,
And her,
Silky lips,
Her looking
forward,
Not looking back,
Her hair,
Playing with her
neck,
And warming her
ears,
Her smile,
Ever so silent,
Yet so sweet,
Is where it all
starts
For her.
She’s like a paper
plane,
Being thrown out
that balcony door,
Catching an
uplift,
Soaring out,
Colours shouting
at her,
From below,
Raising high,
Looking at the
stars,
Dropping low,
Watching the
dolphins
Jump and dive,
Their tails
playing,
Teasing the crests
of the waves.
She’s like a
shark,
Following its
food,
Stalking it,
Waiting for the
next bite,
Following it,
From Africa,
To New Zealand,
To Korea,
The fish,
They are there,
They are aplenty,
Where ever she
goes,
She will always
have a bite
To indulge in,
But,
Where ever she
goes,
Its not that one
spot,
She’s seen before,
It’s something
different,
Sometimes a little
queer,
But, nonetheless,
Something new,
She loves to go,
Leaving ripples,
Not waves,
Where ever she
goes,
She loves to be free,
Free falling,
The world at her
feet,
The heavens above,
She loves to be
free
With the wind,
Her friend
Joining her,
Gently blowing her
along,
On her journeys.
