Shrek has Fiona,
Batman has
Catwoman,
Spiderman has Mary
Jane,
Superman has Louis
Lane,
Yet this man,
This Tom Cruise,
Of the modern
generation,
Has none,
He’s alone,
He could tackle
all the dragons,
While riding his
bike,
Bouncing through
Gotham,
Running up the
sides,
Of those tall dark
buildings,
Flying off into
the horizon,
Having saved,
Yet another day,
He could walk up
to Katie,
And convince her,
That scientology,
Was worth another
shot,
He could,
Talk Megan Fox,
Into doing a
prequel,
Driving away,
Down that dirt
road,
With bumblebee,
He could,
Walk through those
pearly gates,
With Elizabeth
waiting,
With Phillip,
In bed,
Causing,
Yet another
divorce,
In that special
family.
He knows,
How to play a
game,
He knows how to
break a table,
He knows how to
take it like a man,
He knows,
That despite,
All those old
ladies,
Looking at him,
All innocent,
And crazy,
It’s just a laugh,
His innocence,
Shinning out,
He knows,
That he’ll get his
due,
He’ll use his wit,
He’ll be like that
fat lady,
Singing last.
He’s sharp like a
knife,
And blunt like a
razor,
He’ll cut that
meat,
Away from the bone,
Like it was
butter,
Melting on the
stove,
He’ll tear and
rip,
At those hairs,
Leaving more
stubble,
Then silky smooth,
He’ll tell you a
story,
About the man and
the moon,
And the cow, that
jumped,
But didn’t quite
make it,
Because that pink
pig,
Went by,
Kicking it in the head,
Sending it
crashing into the ground,
Far below,
He’ll be quick,
He’ll be nimble,
He’ll jump over
that candlestick,
Leaving Jack beat
up,
In a bloody mess,
Crying,
His tears,
Filling a pool,
No quick,
No nimble,
No candlestick,
Just a memory,
Of who,
That GI Joe,
That,
Dark,
Good looking,
Wise cracking,
Fellah,
With the sharp
knife.
