Green

Green

Loves travelling
Seeks adventure, but stability is important
Jealousy

Green

She had walked down that road a thousand times before,
She had climbed mountains like it, hundreds times before,
She had swum oceans like it as she was sleeping,
She had flown like a Pterosaur,
Taking the giant leap,
And gliding to a slow stop,
Were like breathing to her,
She could stop,
But,
Then again,
Stopping would be like,
Falling into that hole,
With sprinkles of dust,
Covering her dull
Lifeless body.

She sought that,
Jump,
She sought
That fall,
She sought that,
Feeling,
One can only get,
From placing
Pacer on your heart,
That feeling,
That as you make your first speech,
In front of  a crowd,
A stadium,
Silenced by her words,
Bouncing of its walls,
Spinning like a tornado,
Tearing down its roof.

She sought to be like
Armstrong,
Drifting down those steps,
Walking where no man had been before,
Yet,
She knew,
Like the wise old owl,
Tending over its chicks,
That she must come home to rest,
She knew,
That while the grass looks greener,
On the other side of the fence,
It tastes better on this side,
So,
While, she might stray,
Browsing the heavens,
For a new path,
Or a road to cross,
Her soul,
Will return to that special place,
That’s built to last,
That rock firmly anchored,
Deep within the ground.

She smiles,
Showing all her teeth,
Her pearly whites,
Her soft short brown hear,
Parting briefly to show,
Her eyes sparkling,
Like jewels,
Being found,
After being hidden,
In the closet for so long.
But, not all is what it seems,
That smile,
Hides something,
Deep, deep within,
She looks around,
At you, at me,
What is it we are doing,
Who is it we are with,
And why can’t she be there,
With us enjoying our pleasures,
Savouring our sweetness,
Drinking our nectars,
Why is it,
That you and I are there,
And she is not,
Her pretty smile,
Hides her thoughts,
Disguises them,
Like Ethan Hunt,
In Mission Impossible,
Hiding his face,
To the enemies of the state.

She spreads her arms out wide,
The green leaves cushioning her,
Embracing her,
Dancing with her soft hands,
Teasing her hair,
That demon inside her,
That Ethan Hunt,
Twists and turns,
Screams for her attention,
Yet, this one time,
She’s not gunna listen,
She lets the trees take control,
Her beauty,
Drifting back,
Swaying with the leaves,
Her body raising high,
Leaving Ethan,
Quiet and all alone
Far below,
On the ground,
She sees the flowers,
And the bees,
And they grow,
They sing,
And reach out,
Basking in the warmth,
The love,
The freedom,
That radiates from
Her essence,
Her purity,
Her sincerity,
Her beauty.
