There she is,
Standing tall in her lime green shirt,
Her thin, black eyebrows curving around her small brown eyes,
Her long thin nose,
Stretching out to her thin pink lips,
To her smile wide,
Her teeth leaping out of her mouth
Her whitey brown skin,
Softly radiates off her slender body,
Her long thin arm reaching out,
Her long thin fingers gently touching,
His long wide nose.

She’s where she belongs
Out in the fresh air,
And a simple touch is all she needs,
To know she is home,
Who needs walls,
Built high, and wide,
Like a cell preventing you from,
Reaching out,
When all you need is here,
Short walls,
Leaning through the crisp air,
To see your neighbour,
Or that hand, you know you want,
That is hers,
To come and rest upon you,
Her eyes meeting yours
And the two of you becoming one,
You know her thoughts,
She knows yours,
You feel her pain,
She feels your delight,
You share the same breath,
You smell the same stuff,
Her heart is yours
And yours is hers,
You belong together,
And then she goes,
You fret,
A tear slides down your cheek,
No matter,
How much you tell yourself,
That she’ll be back tomorrow,
It doesn’t matter,
For it’s the pain now,
That pierces you to the bone,
She stops,
She twitches,
You watch her,
Wondering whats wrong,
She turns,
Runs back to you,
Wrapping her long thin arms
Around your neck,
Her lips touch your sides
And her hands tease your hair,
She whispers a secret,
The one you know best,
In your long pointed ears,
That tear, stops rolling,
And climbs back up,
You give her a nod
And turn your head,
And start chatting to you neighbour.

She stands tall,
As she walks away,
Her shoulders wide,
Her smile,
Bouncing as she skips,
Over the stones,
This isn’t the last,
He’s seen of her yet,

She rides the plains,
Like she does everyday,
A rock is not an obstacle
Nor is the rain,
A sign to run inside,
She stays atop,
Her hands firmly planted in the reins,
Her feet secure in the stirrups,
Her bum, gently riding the saddle,
Her head held high,
She’s ready,
To stand proud,
To show her beauty,
Her strength,
Her determination,
To stay atop,
And to enjoy,
This,
What is dutifully hers.

Some people,
See a challenge,
To dodge,
Or turn around,
Some people see an object,
As a curious affection,
To look at and ponder,
Wonder its ways,
And defections,
She sees life,
And its throws,
She cant avoid,
She cant change,
She can accept,
See the beauty,
For what is around,
Far and near,
And for what is her,
She sees flowers,
Where others might see dirt,
She sees grass drinking,
After a hot day,
Where others see rain and thunder,
She sees freedom,
In a small boxed room,
Where others see boredom,
For, as long as she breathes
She has possibilities,
She has life,
Which, is at the heart of all her basic needs.
