glory

Glory

Likes small tiny things
Likes animals and babies
Knows the pleasures of eating

Glory

She maybe big,
She maybe tall,
She maybe strong,
But,
That’s not her at all,
It’s not what she’s like,
Glory and fame,
Brad and Angelina,
That’s not her style,
Diamonds and gold rings,
Chevrolets and Ferraris,
That’s not her fashion,
She likes,
Something a bit smaller,
Something a bit closer,
To the ground,
Something,
That she can admire,
From afar,
Something that she needs
To get on her hands and knees,
To appreciate,
She likes,
All things big,
Yet,
Especially small,
Demanding her attention,
Demanding her detail,
That’s where her heart,
Is at,
That’s where her heart,
Lives,
That’s where her heart,
Belongs,
Sometimes,
Those small things,
Can be giant,
And sometimes,
Those big things,
Can be small,
Yet,
As she knows best,
Everything,
Is worth noticing,
And everything,
Deserves a chance,
To be cared about.

Goo and Gaa,
Waa and Maa,
Neigh and Moo,
Those are the songs she likes to hear best,
Old Macdonald,
Wrote a song for her,
And everwhere,
There was a this here,
And a that a there,
Rock a by,
Lulla bye,
Is that song,
She knows,
When she goes home,
On a hot day,
On a cold day,
It’s there,
Tingling her spine,
Making her feel,
So divine,
She’s happiest,
Not in the company
Of others,
But relaxing,
Playing,
Sharing her smile,
Sharing her glow,
With those,
Who melt,
Like snow on
On a hot spring day,
When she is near,
Creatures,
Big and small,
Large and wide,
She doesn’t judge,
She doesn’t frown,
She just open’s her arms,
And lets them all in.

God gave her many things,
Yet the greatest thing of all,
Was food,
Food, food, food!
Oh glorious food!
It wakes her up in the morning,
It rings her alarm at lunch,
It speaks to her,
Ever so subtly
At night,
Reminding her,
That before bed,
A good meal,
Is indeed required,
To help her with those
Dreams,
That go with her beautiful smile,
Yet,
As much as it appears,
She’s not a pig,
She doesn’t eat a lot,
Just look at her tiny frame,
And the truth speaks volumes,
She’s a connoisseur,
Just a taste,
Here and there,
Does her,
A smell,
A whiff,
To sparkle,
And give her eyes delight.
